AUSTRALIA'S SIXTEEN BIGGEST COMPANIES COMMIT $3 BILLION TO INDIGENOUS PROCUREMENT WITH 'RAISING THE BAR' INITIATIVE
Indigenous procurement continues to be the focus of not just state and federal Australian governments but also big business with the announcement of the Business Council of Australia's 'Raising the Bar' initiative. Sixteen of among Australia's biggest conmpanies have committed to the initiative that pledges $3 billion to spent on Supply Nation business over the next five years. DCL - with more than 51% inidgenous owenership - is proudly Supply Nation Certified and looks forward to exciting times ahead for indiegnous procurment.
The sixteen business include: Australian Unity, BAE Systems, BHP, BP Australia, Commenwealth Bank of Australia, EY, Fortescue Metals Group, KPMG, Lend Lease, McKinsey and Compoany, Microsoft, :Programmed, Qantas, Rio Tinto, Westpac and WSP.
